Your Nutrition Therapist

Each person is very different resulting in each person’s nutrition and fitness needs being unique. Kaye-Ann Taylor uses a down to earth real life approach to nutrition and lifestyle counseling, supported by scientific and social research.

Kaye-Ann has over fifteen years of experience in the field of health and nutrition. She started her career in the area of clinical nutrition and realized her passion lay in the area of assisting clients realize their health and wellness benefits and so moved into the area of private practice nutrition counseling.

Dr. Taylor is a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Licensed Nutritionist (LD/N) in the State of Florida. Dr. Taylor completed a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida in Clinical and Community Dietetics, a Master of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics from Florida International University, and Master and Doctoral degrees in Education, with an emphasis in Adult Education, from Florida Atlantic University.

Kaye-Ann has been involved in media interviews on current topics, published numerous articles and has received numerous honors, including Recognized Dietitian by the Florida Dietetic Association.

Kaye-Ann is a wife who also gives a lending hand and head in her husband's dental practice and is the mother of an 8 year old daughter, and two boys 6 and 2 years old.

Our Practice

Dr. Taylor’s practice is based on the philosophy that each person is very different and as a result each person’s nutrition and physical activity needs are unique. She uses a variety of instruments and techniques such as Readiness to Change and Motivational Interviewing to facilitate change.

Dr. Taylor's Experience

Dr. Taylor’s experience has been in a variety of areas with publication topics including bloated belly and fiber needs; Education practices of dietitians in hospital settings; The perceptions of elderly hip fracture patients and the role of nutrition in their recovery; Making and keeping your New Year’s Eve resolutions; and The effects of creatine and periodized strength training in the elderly. Her interests also include childhood weight management and the effects of physical activity in improving health.

Dr. Taylor has received numerous awards including the President’s Award from the Broward County Dietetic Association and the Recognized Young Dietitian Award by the Florida Dietetic Association.
